MINISTRY OF MUSIC:   In this Fellowship of Faith

In this fellowship of faith, we have come to know the Lord.

We have felt the Spirit move within this place.

In this fellowship of faith, we are blessed for evermore

By the warm and healing presence of God's Grace.

With open hearts and open minds, we will share the love of Christ.

We will live as his Disciples every day.

And this fellowship of Faith will become a shining light;

a sign to all who will follow in his way.

Together we stand; together we sing

as we praise the Lord, our Saviour and our King.

Together we serve; together we pray,

for we are one in this fellowship of Faith

With open doors, we welcome all who have come to seek the truth,

and to find the peace that God alone can give.

In this fellowship of Faith, we have found our hope renewed.

We trust the Lord to guide us as we live.

Together we stand; together we sing

as we praise the Lord, our Saviour and our King.

Together we serve; together we pray,

for we are one in this fellowship of Faith.

Mission Corner …

Hope lives here!

Presbyterians Sharing helps Toronto’s ARISE Ministry offer outreach, case management and pastoral care to victims of human trafficking and people involved in the sex trade.  As part of this ministry, the Rev. Deb Rapport sets out once a week at midnight with one or two others to chat with women they meet and find out if they are ok.  They hand out bags filled by volunteers with things a woman might want – including hand sanitizer, tissues, lip gloss, chocolate and emergency numbers – and even more important, a sign that someone cares.  Deb shares, “ARISE Ministry is where hope lives!  What a profoundly awe-inspiring experience to see hope take hold in someone’s life.  Please pray for ARISE as we continue to plant, tend and care for the seeds of hope growing in the lives of individuals involved in the sex trade.”

PHOTO OP … for those who missed having their photo taken for our Church directory last Fall, you can do so on Sunday, May 28th in the auditorium after the church service.  See Bob Kennedy or Margaret Hare.
